There are probably a lot of board games stored somewhere in your house that you can take out and turn into an inexpensive date. Pop some popcorn or purchase a bunch of inexpensive snacks and drinks that you can share while you spend an afternoon or evening getting acquainted with some of the games you probably haven’t played in years. Playing board games like checkers, chess, scrabble, monopoly or any of the other favorites from your childhood should bring back great memories while making new ones at the same time.
While this isn’t a date that you will probably want to do on a regular basis (unless, of course, you both love to play a certain board game together), it’s a fun and inexpensive way to spend time together in a different way than you usually do. It’s also a great standby when weather turns sour and you can’t go outside for a date.
