Local Festivals
Many towns and communities support local festivals and art fairs that can make for a wonderful day of entertainment on a date. Most of these are free or a nominal fee for entrance at the most.
While the local festivals can have a wide variety of themes, many of the events are based on the local food specialties. This makes the festivals a wonderful place to share a meal with your date, too.
To find out about upcoming events you can check your local newspaper activity section. Your town park and recreation department may also have a calendar of these events.
